How many guests can ThymeKitchen cater for at a private function?
We cater for private functions from 30 to 2,000 guests. The menu, staffing, equipment and setup are planned around your confirmed guest count and venue requirements.
Can you cater at our home or private venue?
Yes. We cater at homes and private venues across Cape Town and surrounding areas, provided there is suitable access and enough space for our catering setup.
Do you offer Halaal-friendly private function catering?
Yes. Halaal-friendly menu options are available on request, and we do not use pork products. Please discuss any specific dietary or religious requirements when requesting your quote.
Can we customise the menu for our celebration?
Yes. You can choose from our set menus or build a catering package around your guest count, preferences, budget and dietary requirements.
What setup space do you require at our venue?
We generally require approximately a 3 × 3 metre wind-free area with clear access for our equipment. Our gas-powered setup does not require electricity. Exact requirements can be confirmed once we know your venue.
How do we secure our private function date?
Your booking is secured once availability has been confirmed and the required 50% deposit has been paid. Dates are booked on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.
