Planning an event doesn’t need to be complicated. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or corporate function, we keep things simple, organised, and seriously tasty.
Here’s exactly how it works.
Step 1: Request a Quote
Send us your event details using our online form. Tell us the date, location, guest count, and the vibe you’re going for. The more info you give us, the better we can tailor your quote.
Step 2: Get Your Custom Quote
We’ll put together a clear, customised catering quote based on your event. No hidden costs. No funny business. Just honest pricing and quality food.
Step 3: Secure Your Date
Happy with the quote? A deposit secures your booking. Dates are confirmed only once payment reflects — and prime dates book fast.
Step 4: Finalise the Details
Closer to your event, we confirm final numbers and menu details. This helps us plan perfectly and ensures generous portions for everyone.
Step 5: We Bring the Fire
On the day, our team arrives on time, sets up, and cooks fresh onsite (where applicable). You relax, mingle, and enjoy — we’ll handle the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions we get asked the most. If you’re unsure about anything, message us — we’re friendly, not scary.
1) How far in advance should I book?
Popular dates go quickly (especially weekends and peak season). If you have a date in mind, send your enquiry as early as possible. We’ll confirm availability and guide you from there.
2) When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once your deposit reflects and we’ve acknowledged it. Until then, your date is not locked in (we do first-come, first-served).
3) Do you offer onsite spit-braai and delivery options?
Yes. We offer onsite spit-braai catering (the full experience) and delivery options for selected menus. Your quote will reflect what works best for your venue and guest count.
4) What areas do you cater for?
We’re based in Cape Town and cater across Cape Town and surrounding areas. Travel is quoted based on location and logistics.
5) Can you do starters / snacks for when guests arrive?
Absolutely. If you want “something to nibble while the fire does its thing,” we can add starter options (ask us for recommendations based on your guest count and vibe).
6) Can we remove or swap menu items (e.g., no drumsticks)?
Yes — within reason. We’ll tailor the menu where possible and keep the balance right so portions and timing still work perfectly.
7) What do you need at the venue for onsite catering?
A suitable setup area, clear access, and sometimes electricity (depending on the package). We’ll confirm requirements in advance so there are no surprises on the day.
8) Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Let us know about dietary needs (vegetarian, halaal-friendly preferences, allergies, etc.) upfront so we can advise the best options.
9) What happens if guest numbers change?
We finalise guest numbers by an agreed date before the event. If numbers increase, we can usually accommodate (with notice). If numbers decrease after finalisation, costs may still apply due to procurement and prep already locked in.
10) How does payment work?
A deposit secures the booking and the balance is due before the event date. All payment terms are clearly outlined on your invoice.
11) Do you supply plates, cutlery, and tables?
This depends on the package and service style. If you need full service ware and extras, tell us — we’ll quote accordingly.
12) How long does the spit-braai service take on the day?
Timing varies by menu and guest count, but generally we arrive with enough runway to set up, cook properly, and serve smoothly. We’ll confirm your event timeline during final planning.
